1. Is hypnosis safe?
Hypnosis is 100% safe. In fact, you probably go in and out of hypnosis multiple times a day. Think of watching a movie or reading a book you are engrossed in; or taking a drive and realizing you have arrived at your destination after what feels like no time at all! This relaxed sate of consciousness during a comedy hypnosis show can be a fun reprieve from the daily world.
2. What is hypnosis?
Hypnosis is simply a focused state of concentration. A technique that has been around for thousands of years and often used for self-improvement and entertainment. This comfortable relaxed state allows the hypnotist to connect you with your subconscious mind. While this is a wonderful state to experience, you always have control. Hypnosis is NOT mind control.
3. Can anyone be hypnotized?
Almost anyone can be hypnotized. There are only three reasons why you might find it difficult the first time. One, some people do not want to be hypnotized. We do not hypnotize anyone who does not want the experience. Two, because volunteers need to focus and concentrate, there is a certain amount of intelligence required for a good experience. The more intelligent you are, the easier it will be for you. Finally, some people actually “try” too hard because they want to experience hypnosis so bad. Those people just need a little more practice! We find that a high percentage of our volunteers experience hypnosis easily.
4. Can you fake hypnosis?
I suppose anyone could fake hypnosis. A quality hypnotist will recognize and deal with it during the show. We are always looking for the best volunteers each night to provide a great how!
5. Can you get stuck in hypnosis?
Definitely not. It is impossible to get stuck in hypnosis because it is just a state of mind. After the show, volunteers will feel great and energized.
6. Will I remember everything if I volunteer?
Everyone is different! Some volunteers remember everything and others just feel fantastic. Our show offers hilarious, clean and safe fun. Volunteers open their minds and unleash their creativity and imagination. Embarrassment is not part of the show because we know how to have a great time and laugh aloud without embarrassing anyone.
